16 Chloes story - Blue from the sky (1/2)

That night the vampires started to move. By a miracle me, Joe and Kay weren't with the others when they arrived.

”We're going to Tot right now!” Joe screams.

”Are you an idiot?” Kay asks. ”What if she's being chased or something? That would put her in danger.”

As soon as the sun went down, Joe called us. We followed him to the forest, he had told us he wanted to talk about Mary. I thought I would be forced to tell her about her problems, but that was not the case, her real desire was to go after her right now. Yeah, the idiot ended up telling me where she was going.

”If you're not just gonna stay.” Joe talks by raising his voice even more. ”We're going after her.”

I put my hand on the hem of the sword.

”I wouldn't do that if I were you,” he says looking at me, ”We vampires are known to be well-balanced, but they say I'm the exception to the rule.”

”Don't make me laugh.” Joe talks in advance.

”That's what we'll see.” Kay speaks.

He was already standing, aiming at the vampire's side, where he shoots two arrows. However, the vampire was much faster, plays Joe on Kay while deviating from the arrows, soon after he turned to me, who had taken the sword.

”Are you sure about that?” The vampire keeps his guard down. ”I didn't come here to fight, you're already exhausting my patience.”

Kay is silent after the vampire's speech, he was probably angry that the vampire was lying to his face. That was your town.
