Chapter 9: Are you trying to kill me!?

”Please! Help me! Sir!”

It was the girl who is under Lusha's brace who is shouting. The shout diverted Lusha's attention.

The young man noticed the girl within Lusha's brace. He concluded that it was the target they wanted. He quickly leaped towards Lusha to take the girl from him.

Lusha did not expect the young man to be fast aside from his explosive force. He was caught off-guard and did not manage to react in time. As he stepped backward Dylan's palm is already on hi its way for a slap.

Lusha's arm which is supposed to be holding the girl loosened. The palm swept his arm outwards which he did not expect. The girl was released in that instant and is about to fall.

Fortunately, Dylan is already expecting it he used his pivot to propel himself forward and took advantage of his slightly skinny physique to squeeze into Lusha's side. In the next instant, he is already behind Lusha with the girl on his grasp.

n.o.body expected it to happen. How can it be so fast an easily done? Even Lusha is in a big disbelief! If not for him being distracted the girl won't be s.n.a.t.c.hed from him. It was perfect timing and planning that made it happen. By taking advantage of the shout and distraction he moved without wasting a single second using an instant to catch them off-guard.

Lusha looked at the boy and sized him up with disbelief still evident in his eyes. He thought the boy was kind of familiar and remembered where they met.

”It is you! The boy who drinks Milk. Never would I have thought that you are this strong. Unfortunately, it is not enough.”

He quickly used his hands to grab the boy and hold him but he was a step late! The boy leaped away immediately. Lusha was angered. He thought the job would be easy but never in his life would he imagine of being played by a little man!

He quickly looked at his crews and ordered them to chase.

”Red Feather Pirates! Give chase! Get the girl and kill that man mercilessly!”

””””WAAHOAHOA” ”YES! sir!””””

The crew roared and immediately moved as a response to their Captain's order! 9 of them stood out and leaped beside Lusha, they are his direct subordinates and his best crews. The Captain with the 9 used the roofs as their foothold as they chase Dylan to get the Girl.

Dylan, on the other hand, is moving towards a certain direction which he honestly doesn't know. He looked at the girl in his brace saw her face, behind the dirt and blood stains on her face is a beauty that is hidden. Her skin is soft and glossy, its color is comparable to a finished pearl. Unfortunately, he can't see the entirety of her face due to her eyes being covered by Thick goggles.

But admiring her beauty is not the cause why he looked at her. The girl snapped into reality and saw that she was already rescued. She looked at the man who saved her and their eyes suddenly met. She was not able to react and was in a daze until she was asked a question.

”Miss, can you tell me where the harbor is?”

The question made the girl stunned. The boy looked innocent despite his skills. She looked around her and saw the direction they are headed to.

”ARE YOU DUMB!? That is a forested mountain were headed to!!! The city Harbor is completely the exact opposite of the direction we are headed to!”

Dylan did not take it to heart and replied lightly, ”Oh, is that so?”

The girl cannot believe what she was seeing. She was wondering how this man was able to save her from Lusha and started to doubt him. But, nothing goes worst by what she saw next.
